At the Edges of Empire : Measures of Peter Sloterdijk
We take the side of a maternal Peter Sloterdijk, the one whose words heal, the one who tells us that “there is a hole at the beginning and a hole at the end,” and that it is necessary “to fill both by the narrative form.” For these stories, these brooding words, this ovoid philosophy, this praise of the national, this vertical fantasy —he also says (and this is where we love him the most)— are “forms of panic.” This issue was edited by Erik Bordeleau and Dalie Giroux. Translations for this issue will be added gradually.
